Life Groups are the best place to connect with other people here at Monclova Road. If you are not involved in Life Groups, we encourage you to find one! Below you will find all the information about the different Life Groups offered currently. Let’s connect with people on a more personal level and let’s do LIFE together! STUDENT LIFE GROUPS
Pastor Cristian Gerardo Ayquipa and his wife Elizabeth lead the Student Bible Study on Sundays at 11:00 a.m. in room 204. They are committed to helping teens navigate these difficult years with biblical courage and wisdom. Each week, students gather to strengthen their walk with Christ and meet new friends. Regardless of where you may be on your personal journey of faith, we invite you to experience Jesus Christ personally and see the difference He will make in your life.
LIFE GROUP LADIES
The ladies class is made up of women of all ages who appreciate the fellowship of other women and the study and application of spiritual principles in the context of womanhood. The class meets on Sunday mornings at 9:30 in building C room 103. A warmer, more welcoming group of ladies you will not find. The life experiences and spiritual passion of these ladies is a great source of strength and encouragement to others. Donna Fish leads this class. Whether your desire is sharing or gathering wisdom from the Word, you will get a heartfelt welcome from this group.

LIFE GROUP AGES 18-23
Richard and Elena Moses lead our Young Adult Life Group. They have been married for seven years and have two children. The Young Adult Bible study consists of a time of sharing prayer requests and praises of what God is doing in each other’s lives. This group typically goes through short 5-10 week bible studies that cover topics that are pertinent to current events, culture, or spiritual disciplines. As a group, there are sometimes gatherings off campus for events and activities throughout the year. You are invited to experience a great community together on Sunday mornings at 11:00 in the Chapel, Building B.
LIFE GROUP AGES 24-35
Dan and Raine Hill lead our LIfe Group for 24-35 year olds. The Hills have 3 children, Alaina, Ricky, and Ezra. This group is a community where you can participate in engaging discussions, hear biblical teaching, and make genuine connections. The aim is to learn how to love God and others more each and every day. Meeting time is Sunday at 11:00 a.m., room 101 in Building C.
LIFE GROUP AGES 24-35

LIFE GROUP AGES 36-50
Matt and Vickie Bernsdorff lead a Life Group for ages 36-50. Matt has had the privilege of being a pastor and teaching the bible for the last 19 years. He and his wife Vickie have experienced God’s power in their lives, along with their four children and grandchildren. It is their passion and joy to share how God’s truths are still transforming lives today. This class is designed to experience the Scriptures, grow your faith, and be an encouragement to others. The practical teaching on a wide variety of subjects encourages a conversational forum that will challenge and unite believers. You are invited to sit back and relax or engage and share. Regardless, you will be challenged from the Word! Coffee, food, and fellowship is a part of every class. Sunday 11:00 a.m. in the Teen Room.
LIFE GROUP F.R.O.G.
Henry Cockerill along with his wife Diana lead the Adult Sunday School class, Team F.R.O.G. which stands for Fully Rely On God. The group meets Sundays at 11:00 a.m. in the Community Room, Building A. The ages range from 40 – 80 plus. If you are interested in going deep into God’s word for little hidden gems that are applicable to us today, and you like being able to share a thought on a subject, then this is the place for you! Our folks are the most loving and caring people you will ever meet. Feel free to check this group out. This group is always happy to welcome new faces!

LIFE GROUP AGES 66+
Pastor Oscar and Zaida Velazquez lead the Young at Heart Life Group for ages 66+. They have been married almost 47 years, and have been teaching this class for 21 of those. This class is based on the precious Word of God. Each week a lesson sheet that consists of 3 or 4 “fill in the blanks” is provided and discussed. There is always time for comments, testimonies and questions. This is a very relaxed atmosphere with a close knit group of seniors. You are invited to fellowship and study the Bible at 11:00 a.m. each Sunday. Young at Heart Life Group meets in room 102 in Building C.
LIFE GROUP YOUR CHRISTIAN WALK
Paul Hamaker and his wife Julie lead the small group “Your Christian Walk”. They would love for you to join them in this group made up of all ages as they walk through the Bible verse by verse from the Old to New Testament and study God’s Word together in depth. During these studies, there is time for open discussion and questions helping to learn and grow from God’s Word. Prior to the start of each class, time is spent in fellowship with one another and developing friendships which then leads into prayer time as requests are shared and prayed for. This group meets Sunday mornings at 11:00 a.m. in room 103.
