Who we are
CREW at Monclova Road Baptist Church, is committed to help teens discover truth in a society that rejects it. Each week, dozens of teens come together to strengthen their walk with Christ, meet new friends, and create memories that will last a lifetime. Our teen staff and volunteers are committed to help teens navigate these somewhat difficult years with biblical courage and wisdom. Regardless of where you may be on your personal journey of faith, we invite you to experience Jesus Christ on a personal level and see for yourself the difference He will make in your life.
What we believe
We believe that in order for students to mature in their faith they must be exposed to solid Biblical teaching, they must experience the personal work of Christ in their own life, and they must learn to share their faith through service to their church and the community around them.
What we do
Sunday mornings at 9:45 A.M. all of our students meet together for a brief time before separating into age specific Bible Studies. These Bible studies are led by a caring adult mentor who encourages the students to pursue their walk with Christ through clear lessons and helpful applications.
7th - 9th grade: CREW on Wednesday nights at 7:00 P.M. is a time specifically designed around the needs and issues 7th, 8th, and 9th graders face. This night is a chance for students to come together in a church environment that speaks directly to them through messages, games, community, music, and small groups accountability. We desire for students to be able to engage with their peers in a community that cares for the spiritual well being of each other.
10th - 12th grade: CREW for 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students meets on Sunday evenings throughout the school year. Doors open at 6:00 P.M. and the service ends at 7:15 P.M. Our time together includes dynamic worship, fun activities, a practical message, and small group discussion time for personal application. This is a time when our High School students can have fun, make great friends, and grow in their relationship with God.
